The students trace four bottle patterns, each overlapping the last one slightly, making each look transparent. They trace their drawing with black crayon.
I reviewed with them the primary & secondary colors and how each secondary is made. We looked at a color wheel and talked about how it shows how the colors are made by were they are placed on it.
They used tempera cakes to paint in their drawings. Making sure to paint the colors in the correct order of the color wheel. After they were dry we cut off the negative space and glued them onto a black piece of construction paper.
